Crazy Cat Lady?

According to one of the teenage girls I have living with me, I'm known as "the cat lady" at her high school, due probably to a previous child in my care who used to attend the same school.

I have always striven to avoid being called things like "cat lady" because it suggests desperate spinsterhood and other such negative ideas, and despite the fact that I have both cats AND dogs, alas the label has stuck anyway.

.....Please do not give me any kittens for my upcoming 50th birthday or I will have to throttle you.
