We had a lovely day yesterday at the Australia Day celebrations at the Gladstone Marina, and so I thought I would share some photos with you.
Volunteers from the Rotary Club cooked 2,000 sausages to give away. |
The crowd continued to grow and we had a great turn-out! |
Part of the entertainment was a pair of amusing and amazing acrobats! |
Most of the crowd got into the Australiana theme |
The crowd, especially the kids, enjoyed dancing along to the Australian bush music. |
And of course there had to be a meat pie eating contest for both the grown-ups ... and the kids |
And the night finished with some fantastic fireworks. I'll share those photos with you tomorrow.
