Huh? How Silly is That?

At a recent function, my mother pointed out something in the Ladies toilets that I hadn't noticed. My mother is around 18cm shorter than me and she and my friend Ana are definitely on the vertically challenged side.

As each of them went to check their make-up and hair, they noticed that neither of them could see into the mirror without standing on tiptoes.

When the facility was initially constructed and tiled, it seems the mirrors were merely an afterthought. Either that, or the decorators didn't realise that women came in various sizes and heights!
