All I Want for Christmas is ... a Genie Lamp Mailbox

Ok, I know it's a little odd, but why is it so difficult to find an unusual letterbox? And where can I find one?

Over the years I've driven past numerous wacky mailboxes on the highways and in backroads, some of which were quite interesting and occasionally even well made.

When I had to replace the letterbox at my new home 18 months ago, almost every mailbox I looked at were exceptionally boring and uninspired.

So where can I go to get a unique one-off letterbox? Is there a demand for such a thing? Perhaps someone could make an entire business out of this.

I don't want to have to spend $1,000 for my silly little dream, but I simply have not been able to locate a business in Australia where I can obtain my design. Is there somewhere else around the world that I could go?

If you know someone who can create my dream, without breaking my budget, I would certainly love to hear from you. Below are some images I created along the lines of what I would like:

It should be big enough to handle A4 envelopes

And it should have a lockable door at the rear.
